̽»¨ÉçÇø Offers FREE Computer Lessons to School Leavers

As part of its Environmental, Social and Governance policies and practices aligned with the and the Africa 2063 aspirations, gives back to the community by offering quality education (SDG 4). Around 40 secondary school leavers of private and public schools in Malawi were invited to attend the free computer lessons training session at the state-of-art campus of ̽»¨ÉçÇø in Lilongwe. This successful initiative has been running since August 2018 and has benefitted more than 800 school graduates so far.Ìý

Through the training, ̽»¨ÉçÇø aims to engage with potential students, prepare them towards successful university applications, familiarise them with the flexibility and credibility of online mode of learning, and educate them about the Unicaf’s University degree programmes. Students, from their side, had the opportunity to enhance their computer literacy skills and create email addresses, essential for potential university applications. All participants found this training very useful and expressed their gratitude towards ̽»¨ÉçÇø for this incredible opportunity.Ìý

After the completion of the lessons, all students received a relevant certificate of attendance from Dr Effiness Mpakari Gamp, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of ̽»¨ÉçÇø.ÌýÌý
